Process-oriented approach to writing.?

process-oriented approach to writing. Essentially, the act of writing can be seen as taking place in three stages: planning, drafting, and revising. Which specific strategies can writers use in each of these stages? How do these strategies contribute to the completion of a strong piece of writing?

Planning is the most important to get the piece written but the other stages are also needed to produce a piece that is interesting and intelligible.

Planning should include brainstorming, selection and organizing.

Drafting should include the actual writing of the piece in grammatically correct form. Special care should be given to telling them what you will say, saying it and summarizing what you said.

Revising is checking your piece for errors of grammar, spelling and fact.
