Monopoly: Who was right?

My sister and i were playing monopoly City and i passed go and landed on chance and the card said i had to go back three spaces so i was on the Diamond Hills. Do i still get my 2 million dollars because i passed go or is my sister right and i don't get it? :(

Answer

On your turn you passed Go so you instantly get $2 million. You don't have to pay back the money when you go the other direction, but on your next turn when you pass Go again you get another $2 Million, which is pretty cool.
