What you can expect is perhaps a mild high, followed by vein damage and possible collapse or hemorrhage from the fillers in the pill. 10 mg of hydrocodone is not going to get you high enough to be worth the risk, even if you do think you can purify it.

You will be injecting Acetaminophen with the hydrocodone. This is terrible for your body , not to mention the fillers in the pill itself. It is highly recommended you not do this.

Further,.. Hydrocodone is metabolized into hydromorphone via the liver,.. Injecting into the bloodstream is not worth it. The 'buzz/high' would not be significantly better,.. not to mention 5mg would be a pathetic amount.

Hydrocodone produces the best effects orally.. No one I.V.'s Hydrocodone, not just because it is 'weaker' but because of the way it is metabolized (how it works in your body) -- So just take my word and if you are going to use it recreation-ally, take it by mouth.
