I broke my Sears Craftsman stapler. Does that fall under the lifetime guarantee?
It's not electric.
I have always found Sears to be reasonable. If you haven't abused it then I would think they would replace it.
It completely depends upon the whim of the clerk you will talk with, and what they had for breakfast.
I am aware of the Craftsman warranty on handtools but I am not sure it applies to something like a stapler. In any case Sears has a "satisfaction guaranteed" policy.
