I have a question for the athiest/agnostic people who were once a religion.?

1- Was it hard to doubt your own religion?

2- Did you tell your loved ones?

3- If so, how did they react?

4- Will you change your religous veiws for anyone?

1) It is difficult to answer this question ex post facto. I believe we all come to a point where challenges to our beliefs can topple our current belief systems. I would imagine that it is hard for everyone.

2) Of course, I want to be honest about who I am. But I wouldn't go bragging about it. If you are asked, speak up about what you believe.

3) Many don't react that well. But who cares! It's my belief system - not theirs.

4) Never.

4- I will stay faithful to my God.I will not commit apostasy

But spread his Gospel and follow his commands

If you ask me they should have the testicular fortitude to tell their loved ones and stick to their guns unless their views honestly change.

1- Was it hard to doubt your own religion? No it was easy - it didn't make sense even as a kid. When I tried to ask questions, they brushed me off.

2- Did you tell your loved ones? Yes.

3- If so, how did they react? They didn't like it, but they know I am level headed and reasoned.

4- Will you change your religious views for anyone? No.
