What happens if you fall asleep with sunscreen on?

I've heard that you're skin wont be able to breath in the night. I woke up the next morning and I washed my face. But my sunscreen if waterproof. Do you think that its still on my face and only a good cleansing will get it off? Is is bad to fall asleep with your sunscreen on?

No, its okay! In fact, unless you are using sunscreen this IS comedogenic, then you don't have to worry at all. Comedogenic means it can clog pores and causes pimples, which is rarely the case with sunscreens these days.

If you are using a low-quality sunscreen, it could make your face break out, but if you see those words.. "non comedogenic" - then you are fine!

These lotions, sunscreens, etc. were made with lazy people like me designed to fall asleep and be just fine. In fact, some work better in your sleep b/c sunscreen is best applied hours before exposure to the sun!

Its fine, just don't make it a habit.
