Geometry help please?

Find the perimeter and area of a rhombus if the lengths of the two diagonals are 16 inches and 12 inches. Please help me out! and please provide some kind of work or explination.


(16x12)/2=96inches squared

to get the area of a rhombus you multiply the length of the two diagonals and divide that by 2

a rhombus has equal lengths since its just a tilted square, so you can take 96 as the area of a square.

square root 96 is 6, so that the length of each side of your rhombus. then multiply by 4
