Does Sex & The City ring true for successful women in big cities?

The second movie in my opinion, stereotypes women, gays and married men, the

fashions were awesome, and the women are are in good form despite their ages. However, I don't really get as to why married Carrie is always justifying her childish whims, while Mr. Big gives her a black diamond? I guess the character is supposed to be flawed and fabulous, but it makes career women appear to be just out for themselves.

I have made black diamond engagement rings for clients in Miami, FL. It's more about independence for girls in the big city. There is a lot more self-purchasing and rationalization.

Repeat after me, It's only a TV show! It's only a movie! Repeat as necessary till you get it!
