Am I on the right track for lowering my body fat percentage?
I eat around 1,500 calories a day consisting of food like fish, eggs, yogurt, cheese, green veggies, occasionally fruit, nuts, seeds, a little bit of whole grains, and some protein powder sometimes. I get around 140g protein, about 50g carbs, and under 65g fat and very little sugar. I also do some form of cardio at least 30 minutes a day up to an hour or a bit more. Then I lift weights 2-4 times a week, but I don't push myself really hard with them. Am I doing enough and doing the right things? BTW, I'm f, 21, 5'9, and about 145, and my bf% is around 19-20%, but I'd really like to get down closer to 14-15%. Any tips, advice, or personal experience would be great! Thanks
it sounds like you got it together. 14% is an attainable goal. i went from 15.5% body fat to 6.5% in 2-3 months. i saw great results at first, but it's getting harder to lose it. guess my body just doesn't want to let go, must have gotten attached to it. i'm a guy, so body fat works different for me. i think women can't have under 10% or it's unhealthy.
