80 sit-ups every day good enough?

for a girl who is 5'8.5" that weighs 136 lbs.

My waist is 30"

My goal is to get it to be at least 28"

By the way, the "sit-ups" I'm doing is on an exercise ball. Because I think it makes exercising fun for me than other plain types of workouts. Any suggestions?

sit ups really help your abs i dont think they help your waist get smaller. I am on a swim team and do about 1000 crunches a day they really help your abs. dont do them all at once though cause you will get to tired.. do them through out the day.. it should help you get more muscular in the stomach area:D
