Sure. I would suggest brushing it with a beaten egg white and baking it for 10 minutes or so first though. That'll help keep it from getting soggy.
Yes a graham cracker crust would be perfect.............my favorite pie....
I was going to answer, but then i realized i was a cat.
Do you bake the pie? If it is a baked pie, the graham cracker crust might not work so well. I would stick with what the recipe calls for. You can buy ready to use pie crusts in pans in the freezer section of your local grocery store.
Yes a graham cracker pie crust would be better for your lemon meringue pie and I even have enclosed a good recipe for a graham cracker crust for you.
GRAHAM CRACKER CRUST
1 1/2 cups finely ground graham cracker crumbs
1/3 cup white sugar
6 Tablespoons butter or margarine melted
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, melted butter, or margarine and cinnamon until well blended. Press mixture into an 8 or 9 inch pie plate. Bake at 375 degrees for 7 minutes. Cool. If recipe calls for unbaked pie shell, just chill for about 1 hour and then fill as usual.
