Burd, darn, I believe we have another week before we can go picking. Basically I have them on cereal, as a little fruit bowl mixed with some other berries. Serve them ice cream. Do you know how to make pavlova? Dress the top with strawberries, Kiwi fruit and passion fruit pulp. If you had a couple of tubs more, you could have made strawberry jam.

Make some strawberry shortcake or strawberry ice cream.
take a bath in them, or maybe you could lay in bed with them and share stories, or maybe you could pull pranks with them in wal-mart.

EASY STRAWBERRY APPETIZER
Rinse and hull 2 pints of strawberries.
Fill a small serving bowl almost full with sour cream.
Top off the sour cream with a thick layer of brown sugar.
Serve the strawberries on a large platter with the sour cream bowl in the middle.
1/4 cup canola oil plus 2 Tablespoons
3/4 cup milk
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 Tablespoon baking powder
3/4 cup sugar
2 1/2 cups flour plus 2 Tablespoons
1 1/2 cups chopped strawberries
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Oil an 12 cup muffin tin. In small bowl combine oil, milk, and eggs. Beat lightly. In a large bowl mix flour, salt, baking powder, and sugar. Toss in chopped strawberries and stir to coat with flour. Pour in milk mixture and stir together. Fill muffin cups. Bake for 25 minutes or until the tops bounce back from the touch. Cool 10 minutes and remove from pans. Makes 12 good size muffins.
